Hayley is an American actress and singer. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy series "The Goldbergs". However, she's primarily musician. She says that music was always her first passion. When she was 12, she had taken serious enough about music to start training professionally. At 13, she began writing songs. She recorded her debut album in the age of 14. The music has never stopped ever since. Orrantia is a native of America, has Hispanic heritage. She's proud of the fact that she has Hispanic origins, despite speaking English only and never lived in Mexico. She hopes to protect it through the creation of Spanish songs, and also taking classes in the language. The singer recorded an Spanish version of a song called 'Hasta Verte. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the premiere Season of The X Factor. Orrantia was chosen as a result of an YouTube video and was awarded 4 "yes" votes from the judge during the live audition phase held in Seattle, Washington. Though she initially auditioned on her own at "Hollywood Week", she and three other female singers, were placed into an ensemble for the remainder in the selection process. They were eliminated from the show during the fifth live week.
