Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American performer, actress and songwriter. Many people know her from her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television 'The Goldbergs.' She considers herself to be the best musician of all. According to her, music is the first thing that interests her. She has been dabbling with since she was nine years old. As she grew to 12 old, music was taken seriously enough, that she started professional training. Following a few attempts at songwriting, she only recorded her first album of songs at age 14. From then on, she has not looked back. Orrantia is of Hispanic origins, but was born in USA. Her family has Hispanic roots even though she spoke English when she was a kid and spent her entire life in the United States. To preserve the heritage she's enrolled in Spanish. Also, she writes songs based on the Spanish language. One of her attempts was a Spanish song called 'Hasta Verte.' Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia took home the very first season of The X-Factor after she submitted a YouTube recording of her audition. She was awarded four "yes" votes from the judge during the live stage audition in Seattle. The first time she auditioned, she was to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a solo artist. However, three other women singers and she were grouped together to perform the rest of her tracks. The group was eliminated from the program during the fifth live week.
