Coleman was raised in the town of Blackpool in Lancashire. She attended Arnold School Blackpool, where she was able to get straight As in her A-levels. In a discussion about her Emmerdale role, Coleman said that she regrets not having a conventional university experiences. Coleman participated in a club called In Yer Space at her school. They performed Crystal Clear in Edinburgh Festival. She was awarded an award for her performance, and the play was also well-received. Coleman was offered the role as Jasmine Thomas at Emmerdale while trying out for drama classes in 2005. Coleman was nominated twice for prizes in 2007. Coleman won two nominations in 2007: Best Newcomer for the British Soap Awards; and most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. In the British Soap Awards of 2009 she was nominated under the categories Best Actress and Sexiest female and Best acting in a Drama. Coleman has been nominated as Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who revealed in a news event on 21st of March, 2012, that Coleman will take over the role of Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat chose her due to the ease with which she worked alongside Smith, and that she spoke faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Elle has been in the world of film since 1987. However she has been more prominent on TV than in films. Eva is most well-known for her work in the role of Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children and as the detective Natalia Boa Vistas on CSI Miami. It was the former that gave Eva two nominations for a Daytime Emmy. Also, she got to express her creative side through music. Eva is an entrepreneur as well as an actress. The third man she has married is the father of her daughter.
