Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is an American model, singer songwriter and actress. She is most well-known for her role in the CW TV series Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey and as lead singer of The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's song has appeared in the film and television series such as How to Be a Single and Going the Mile. Taylor Momsen has one younger sister, Sloane Momsen. Taylor Momsen studied at Center of Creative Arts, St. Louis. Her first professional performance came when she was three in a 1997 national commercial for Shake and Bake. Momsen's career came to a stop for more than three years until she received an acting role as the lead in Misconceptions, a WB show Misconceptions. Momsen played a role in Saving Shiloh 2006 during this period. In addition, Momsen was a candidate for the role of lead on Hannah Montana. She was in the top 3 however, Miley was given the part.
